V -- OFFICE RELOCATION SERVICES SOL 5FQC-10-95-057 DUE 030795 POC Vernice Green, 312/353-5509, Contracting Officer Office relocation services for moving the Internal Revenue Service Detroit computing Center (irsdcc) staff and facilities from the following detroitlocations: 1300 John Lodge DR. (appr. 250,000 SF Gen. Ofice space); 613 abbottst. (app. 36,000 SF Gen. Office space); 477 Michigan Ave. (app. 22,000 SF Gen. Office space) and 1965 Porter St. (app. 48,000 SF warehouse) to: 985 michiganave., Detroit, MI. The office relocation will include moving apporximately 1,300 employees; their personal effects; moving general office furnishings; equipment; furniture; and disassemble, MOVE and reassemble approximately 40 Herman Miller Co. Systems furniture work stations from their current locations to the new irsdss located at 985 Michigan Ave., Detroit, Mo. Relocation will be accomplished utilizing A number of MOVE Phases beginning on or about June 2,1995 and completed on or about August 21, 1995. Each MOVE phase will typicallycommence on fridays at 4:00 PM and be completed on saturdays by 11:00 PM. The contractor shall provide, except as otherwise specified, all materials, tools, labor, supplies, equipment, transportation, temporary surfact protection and all other services and facilities necessary for the entire completion of the MOVE. To accomplish the above office relocation will require the services of A professional Commercial moving Company with sufficient management ability, labor force, equipment and financial resources to effect the MOVE within the stipulated time period. It is the contractor'S responsibility to furnish sufficient manpower to complete each phase as required. NO additional compensation will be allowed. Only one pre-proposal tour of the facilities will be offered. The tour will be Held on 2/13/95 at 10:00 AM. Offerors are required to contact Contracting Officer, Vernice Green, on or before 2/9/95 by 4:00 PM, with the Names of those wishing to attent. Prospective offerors are strongly encouraged to attend the pre-proposal tour. Apreproposal conference is scheduled for 9:00 AM on 2/15/95 in room 1194, patrice McNamara Federal building, 477 Michigan Ave., Detroit, MI 48226. All responsible sources may submit A proposal for consideration.
