V -- RELOCATION OF OPTICAL SCANNING SYSTEM SOL N68836-95-R-0060 DUE 030395 POC Contact Carolyn F King, Code 2010.52, (904) 779-3050 or Contracting Officer Janell Palmer, Code 2010.20, (904) 779-3069 or facsimile (904) 779-3061 The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center Jacksonville intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Metalsoft, Inc., 2130 South Yale Street, Santa Ana, Ca. for disassemble, transport, reassemble and training of an optical scanning system now located at Naval Aviation Depot Pensacola to relocate at the Naval Aviation Depot Jacksonville, Florida. The optical scanning system is presently under a lease contract with Metalsoft, Inc. and holds a warranty on this equipment during the duration of the lease period. The warranty would be null and void if contracted with another contractor for the relocation of the equipment. Interested firms are invited to submit a response within fifteen (15) calendar days after publication of this notice to submit their qualifications/capabilities to meet the requirements, along with a request for a solicitation. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
