AUTOMATIC ELECTRONIC KEY-CUTTING MACHINE - The Federal Bureau of Investigation has a requirement for a Quattrocode automatic electronic key-cutting machine or equal. Any key- cutting machine offered other than a Quattrocode key-cutting machine must, as a minimum, meet the following salient characteristics: (1) must be an automatic electronic key-cutting machine; (2) must run on 110v - 60Hz AC; (3) must provide automatic decoding and duplication of Dimple and Laser cut keys; (4) must provide a wide variety of high speed and carbide cutters; (5) must be able to cut keys by direct or indirect codes; and (6) the data files and data base must be computer generated. Any requests for solicitation packages must be submitted in writing, referencing Invitation For Bid (IFB) 6748, and be postmarked no later than fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of this notice.
