This solicitation is for the design and installation of a Storage Aids Systems (SAS) in Base Supply at Lajes Field, Azores, Portugal. This system will occupy Bldgs. T-605, T-611, T-716, and T-818 and will consist of a free-standing, mezzanine, bin shelving, pallet rack, dock leveler, cantilever rack, wide span shelving, and two walkie-reach trucks. An Ombudsman has been established for this acquisition. The ONLY purpose of the Ombudsman is to receive and communicate serious concerns from potential offerors when an offeror prefers not to use established channels to communicate his/her concern during the proposed development phase of this acquisition.
