This requirement is for the fabrication and assembly of a set of approximately 300 coaxial cable assemblies for use in the User Data Acquisition System (UDAS) of the DECADE facility at AEDC. The cable assemblies are to be fabricated from commercially available cables and connectors, with the exception that special precautions are required to limit formation of air voids between the dielectric and conductors of the coaxial cable. In addition, bulk coaxial cable and connectors are required for assembly by the end user. Delivery shall be made to Arnold AS TN within 84 days after contract award. The due date given above is an estimated date and should not be considered a firm due date for receipt of bids. Any responsible source may submit a bid that shall be considered. Firms responding to this synopsis should do so in writing and indicate whether they are a minority business. Foreign participation is allowed. (0019)
