65 -- SURGICAL HEADLIGHT SYSTEM SOL RFP 548-07-95 DUE 021795 POC Contracting Officer, Sharon Leszczynski, (407)882-6508 It is the intent of the VA Medical Center, West Palm Beach Florida to negotiate sole source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 with Surgical Marketing Associates, PO Box 1246, Jupiter, FL 33468 for a surgical headlight system and accessories manufactured by Cogent Light Technologies. System must use a single fiber delivery cable weighing approximately one ounce and have a disposable mounting system. Spot size of the headlight to range in size from 20 to 100 mm. This is a sole source requirement and if no affirmative written responses are received that a comparable source is available, a sole source contract will be negotiated. Responses indicating an interest in this acquisition must be received within 15 calendar days of publication of this notice. Interested parties must submit descriptive literature with their interest proving their capability to respond to the requirements. NOTE: All requests for solicitation documents must be in writing to the attention of the named Contracting Officer, reference the RFP number and include the firm's name, address and telephone number.
