The Directorate of Contracting, Fort Gillem intends to procure 80,000 copies of the publication ``What's Next/A Guide to Family Readiness for the U.S. Army Reserve. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. So that the Directorate of Contracting may decide whether or not to solicit competitive offers, interested parties should provide their ability to fulfill this requirement within 15 days from the date of this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to obtain competition for this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
