Contracting intends to issue RFP No. F41624-95-R-6026 for MODELING,
SIMULATION AND AIRCREW FATIGUE RESEARCH IN SUPPORT OF SUSTAINED
OPERATIONS. This effort is in support of the Armstrong Laboratory, Crew
Systems Directorate, Sustained Operations Branch (AL/CFTO). An advanced
notice was published in FEB 94, under R&D Sources Sought PKR SSS 94-01.
RFP will be released approximately 30 days from the date of publication
of this notice. All interested parties must request a copy of the RFP
in writing no later than 10 days from the date of this publication.
Requests for copy of RFP generated by previous publication PKR SSS
94-01 must be confirmed in writing no later than 10 days from this
publication. Parties failing to respond to this notice shall be removed
from the solicitation mailing list without further notice. Requests and

RESPONDING to THIS PUBLICATION! All firms which respond to this
synopsis shall include in any request their assigned Commercial and
Government Entity Code (CAGE) (i.e., Federal Suppy Code for
manufacturers, a five digit code assigned by Commander, Defense
Logistics Service Center, ATTN: DLSC/FBAA, Federal Center, 74 N.
Washington Ave., Battle Creek MI 49017-3084). All responsible sources
may submit a proposal which shall be considered. SIC Code 8731 has been
assigned to this acquisition. An Ombudsman has been established for
this acquisition. The purpose of this Ombudsman is to receive and
communicate concerns from potential offerors when an offeror prefers
not to use established channels to communicate his/her concern during
the proposal development phase of this acquisition. All potential
offerors should use established channels to voice concerns before
resorting to use of the Ombudsman. The Ombudsman will communicate
certain offeror's issues, diagreements, and recommendations on this
acquisition through proper channels. The Ombudsman's role is not to
diminish the authority of the Program Director of the Contracting
Officer, but to advocate an offeror's concern on a non-attribution
basis. The Ombudsman will not participate in the acquisition. Offerors
