C -- ARCHITECT-ENGINEER SERVICES FOR PRELIMINARY DESIGN OF NOAA CONSOLIDATED FACILITY AT JUNEAU, ALASKA SOL 52ABNA500053 DUE 022395 POC For further information, call Contract Specialist Don Wadhams at 206-526-6036 NOAA requires professional Architect-Engineer services, from a firm licensed to perform these services in the State of Alaska, to develop conceptual design of a proposed NOAA Consolidated Facility in Juneau, Alaska. In addition to development of conceptual facility design, and preliminary construction cost estimates, the contractor shall prepare an Environmental Impact Statement, and prepare and execute a community interaction plan. This pre-design effort will lead to development for construction, of an unimproved site, for mixed occupancy office-laboratory-shop structures. The site development will include utilities, building construction, earthwork, paving, landscaping, storm drainage, exterior lighting and sinage. The estimated construction cost is between $40,000,000 and $50,000,000. The Government intends to award a single fixed-priced contract for these services. Significant evaluation factors (in order of importance) are: 1. Past performance on similar contracts with Government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work and compliance with performance schedules. 2. Specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required. 3. Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time. 4. Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required services. 5. Location in the general geographical area of the project and/or knowledge of the locality of the project. Architect-Engineer firms which meet the requirements described in this announcement are invited to submit a completed Standard Form 254, ''U.S. Government Architect-Engineer Questionnaire'' and Standard Form 255, ''Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionnaire'' for this project. These forms must be received within thirty (30) days of publication of this announcement to be considered for selection.
