Specific tasks and deliverables required from the contractor are in the areas of Emerging Technology Assessment, National Information Infrastructure (NII), Strategic Planning support, National Coordinating Center (NCC) Operations Support, Operational Plans and Policy Support, Training and Exercise Support and Analysis, Telecommunications Service Priority (TSP) System Operations Support, National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee (NSTAC) Support, Advanced Intelligent Networks, NS/EP Telecommunications Plans and Architecture, Cellular Priority Services (CPS) Program Support, Network Management and Technology Planning, Information Technology and the Use of Standards Through 2000, and Network Security Support. Award of one Cost Plus Award Fee type contract for a base period of 12 months and four optional 12 month periods is contemplated. It is estimated that a total of 4,875 technical staff months (TSMs) of support will be required over the life of the contract. The RFP will be issued on or about 15 Feb 95 and will require a receipt of proposals within 45 days.
