Sole source acquisition is contemplated to the University of Florida, Gainesville, FL, for operation of a Graduate Level Residence Center at Eglin AFB FL. Operation shall consist of providing course work, counseling and supervision of theses as necessary for Masters and PhD degrees in Aerospace, Electrical, Industrial, Systems Engineering, and Engineering Mechanics. Additional mathematics and computer science courses shall also be offered each semester. A minimum of 52 courses are to be provided in the 1995-96 academic year (base year) plus two one-year options. Under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c)(1) pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 (services available from only one source), AFDTC intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract with the University of Florida, unless responses to this notice reveal additional sources capable of satisfying the requirement. Interested sources must submit clear and convincing documentation, that clearly demonstrates their capability to meet the Government's requirement. Such statements of capability should include evidence of Masters and PhD degree programs in the areas listed. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
