Representitive (310)297-0285 The FAA, Western-Pacific Region has a
requirement to install six (6) new critical power panels and
reconfigure normal and alternate power supplies for critical panel 2R
in the Control Wing Basement for the Voice Switching and Control
Systems (VSCS), at Los Angeles ARTCC, Palmdale, CA. All work is to be
accomplished in strict accordance with FAA specifications and drawings.
Work includes but is not limited to; furnish and install six (6) new
critical power panels. The six new panels will subfeed from six
existing critical panels. Installing feeder conduits and conductors
under the existing 18'' raised floor on seperate unistrut support
racks. Removing existing feeder on critical panel 2R and installing a
new feeder (cables and a portion of conduit) from CPC to Transfer
Switch 2R. Transfer feeder connection from CPC-D to CPC-A or CPC-C for
three transfer switches, installing motorized dampers on two
underfloor halon fan intake ducts. In addition, work includes, light
gauge metal framing, raised floor cutting, sound acoustical panel and
gypsum vinyl wallboard disassembly and modified reassembly, seismic
structural supports for the power panels and electrical conduits along
the wall and ceiling, grounding, testing, etc., necessary for the
complete installation of VSCS-M1 Console Power. This project is
estimated between $25,000 and $100,000. The Standard Industrial
Classification (SIC) Code is 1731, Electrical Work. The Small Business
size standard is $7.0 million. This is an unrestricted acquisition in
accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration
Program, Title VII of the Business Opportunity Development Reform Act
of 1988 (P.L. 100-656). A solicitation will be issued on or about
