This action is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should indicate interest, in writing, as early as possible but not later than 15 calendar days of this notice by providing to the Contracting Office as a minimum the following information: (a) a positive statement of eligibility as a SDB concern; (b) a positive statement of your intention to bid on this contract as a prime contractor; (c) evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, and point of contacts and telephone numbers; (d) provide evidence of bonding capability to the maximum magnitude of the project to include both single and aggregate totals. ALL OF THE ABOVE MUST BE SUBMITTED IN SUFFICIENT DETAIL FOR A DECISION TO BE MADE ON AVAILABILITY OF INTERESTED SDB CONCERNS. FAILURE TO SUBMIT ALL INFORMATION REQUESTED WILL RESULT IN A CONTRACTOR NOT BEING CONSIDERED AS A QUALIFYING SDB. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns by close of business 10 calendar days from the date of this notice, this solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. Therefore, replies are requested from all concerns as well as from SDB concerns. The magnitude of this project is more than $10,000,000. Work includes but is not limited to the following: Replacing existing condensing units; replacing existing furnaces; replacing existing water heaters; installing and finishing new gypsum board and patching existing plaster wall and finishes at Seymour Johnson AFB NC. Bidders will be given the option to bid on gas or electric. Award will be based on price and other price related factors. Solicitation will be available on or about 13 Feb 95.
