Pre-Solicitation Synopsis - This work includes provision of necessary labor, transportation, materials, supplies, equipment, and supervision for the addition of office space demolition of dock, excavation, concrete work, masonry work, steel deck and joists, carpentry, insulation, preformed metal siding, built-up roof and insulation, flashing, aluminum windows, metal framing with gypsum board, acoustical ceiling, carpet, painting, steam heating, miscellaneous electric work and other incidental related work at the Crane Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, IN. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) for this project is 1541. The related Small Business size standard is 17 million. Completion time is 150 days after award. Estimated value is between $100,000.00-250,000.00. The proposed contract listed here is being considered for 100% Set-Aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) Concerns. Interested SDB Concerns should notify this office in writing, Attn: Debbie Dills, Small Business Specialist of their intention to bid the project as a prime contractor within 15 days from date of this notice. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern; evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds and specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform this type of project. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted with references. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis and another notice will be issued indicating set-aside decision.
