This Air Force Project consists of installing a new water line and connect to the existing irrigation system at the Base Golf Course, install backflow preventer, meter and booster pump. Remove existing earthen dam, including construction of a temporary dam for erosion control and removing existing pumps and associated equipment. Requests for bidding documents must be in writing on company letterhead. Telephonic requests will not be accepted. Requests must include business size, Small Disadvantaged Business status, woman-owned business status and may be submitted via facsimile to 906-372-1452. All interested parties are encouraged to respond. However, if adequate response is received from Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns, this action will be set forth 100% for SDB concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify our office, in writing, of their intention to bid on the project as a prime contractor as early as possible but no later than 6 Feb 95. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds and specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted with references. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. Therefore, replies to this office are still requested from all interested business concerns as well as from SDB concerns. Project requirements should be made available on or about 13 Feb 95.
