This contract action is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete unrestricted technical data; therefore the Government intends to solicit and contract with only one or A limited number of sources under FAR 6.302-1 and 10 U.S.C 2304(C) (1). Approved source is Allied Signal Aerospace. Delivery is 7-23 days after delivery order to worldwide destinations. The proposed contract is for Allied Signal Commercial spare parts from the Allied Signal 1995 spare parts price catalog and line replacement units price catalog. The Defense Industrial Supply Center (DISC) proposes to contract for the distribution of Allied Signal spare parts covering the combined requirements of defense construction, Defense General, Defense Industrial Supply Centers to its Military customers worldwide. The anticipated contract will require the awardee to maintain sufficient inventory in order to fulfill Military requisitions for Allied Signal part-numbered items on an ''off-the-shelf'' basis within 7 to 23 days depending upon the priority of the order. The basic term of the contract will be 3 years, with A Government option to extend the terms for an additional 2 years. Orders are to be issued electronically.
