Sources Sought for a Pulse Code Modulation (PCM) Recorder/Reproducer System. The PCM reproducer shall have the capability to simulataneously record five PCM streams, a voice channel, and IRIG timing channel. The Pulse Code Modulation (PCM) recorder shall have the capability to handle the following PCM formats and data rates: NRZ-L format at 5 Mbits/s for each of the 5 chanels and BI-phase format at 1 Mbits/s for each of the 5 changes. The PCM recorder shall have the capability to digitally record an analog voice channel with a maximum bandwith of 3500 hertz. The PCM recorder shall have the capability to record the following IRIG riming standards: IRIG A, IRIG B, IRIG G. The PCM recorder shall have the capability to interface to a digital linear tape and shall include the device driver for the DLT. The PCM recorder shall have the capability to playback the data in the identical input format (excluding signal level) while maintaining the same relative data/time correlation.
