Officer 508-796-2171. The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to
construct a new Federal Medical Center in Fort Devens, Massachusetts.
The scope of work will include renovation of the existing Cutler Army
Hospital and approximately 400,000 sq. ft. of new construction. The
work includes construction of two low security housing units, one
medium security housing unit, a psychiatric unit and special housing
unit along with administrative, ancillary and support facilities
including utility and sitework. All related work must be completed
within 730 calendar days after issuance of the official notice to
proceed. The estimated price range for this construction contract is
more than $10,000,000. Documents will be available on 2-14-95 from the
Architect/Engineering firm of The Stubbins Associates, Inc., 1033
Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, MA. 02138. A written request and a
non-refundable fee of $1,200 per set should be sent to The Stubbins
Associates by 2-3-95 to ensure a timely receipt of documents. Fee must
be paid by either certified check, cashiers check, or money order. No
personal or business checks will be accepted. Make checks payable to
The Stubbins Associates, Incorporated. Fee includes shipping. Plans
will be available to view at no charge at The Stubbins Associates'
Cambridge office and the following location: F. W. Dodge Plan Room, 24
Hartwell Avenue, Lexington, MA 02173. A site visit and Pre-Bid
Conference will take place on 3-7-95. The location of the Pre-Bid
Conference will be announced in the IFB. This procurement is not a
