The work includes renovation of two three story barracks buildings(Bldgs 457 & 458) to serve as administrative office space such as: demolition of interior concrete masonry partitions; addition of new gypsum board and metal stud partitions; construction of a ground floor lobby with an elevator and a corridor linking the two buildings at each floor; a new warehouse; demolition of Bldg. S-143; air conditioning, electrical and fire protection upgrades; new ceilings, carpet, wall finishes; telephone; data systems and computer room; seismic design, steel frame beams and columns with metal deck and joists; foundation system consisting of auger-placed grout piles; exterior walls of the warehouse of brick veneer with concrete masonry unit backup; corridor link with exterior walls of aluminum faced composite panels; and site work including restriping of parking lot, addition of paved driveways, concrete curbs and sidewalks.
