This project is UNRESTRICTED. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) for this project is 1721 - Painting, Paper Hanging, and Decorating. The size standard is $7 Million. The general intention of this contract is to provide and secure indefinite quantity exterior painting of family housing units located at the Marine Corps Combat Development Command, Quantico, Virginia. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, material, equipment and supervision necessary to fulfill the requirements of delivery orders issued by the Contracting Officer. The projected date for availability of solicitations is February 13, 1995. The projected bid opening date is March 15, 1995. Requests for plans and specifications may be mailed to the above address, Attn: Code 90 or requests may be sent via facsimile using FAX # (703)640-5929. Contractors within the local area are encouraged to pick up a copy of the plans and specifications at the office of Facility Support Contracts, Building 2034, Southeast Corner, Quantico, Virginia. The hours of operation are 7:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. There will be no charge for these documents, however, there will be only one set issued per contractor. Requests for plans and specifications and bidder's list should be made separately to avoid confusion. This also applies to requests for numerous solicitations.
