Hudson, 415/604-1343 The successful Contractor shall provide the materials, equipment and labor for the Replace Arc Jet Water Pumps project, Buildings N234 and N238 at NASA Ames Research Center in accordance with the drawings, specifications, and contract clauses. This project consists of a base bid and one option. The successful contractor shall disconnect and remove the six 1020 gpm water pumps outside the south end of building N238, fabricate, install, and test six new 1020 gpm water pumps and associated piping modifications as per specifications and drawings. Weld examination and hydrostatic testing of the new cooling water piping is required. Option one consists of disconnecting and removing the four 720 gpm water pumps in the basement of building N234, fabricating, installing and testing four new 1020 gpm water pumps and associated piping modifications as per specifications and drawings. Weld exam ination and hydrostatic testing of the new cooling water piping is required. The contract duration will be 290 calendar days, to run concurrently with the base bid and option. The estimated magnitude of this project is between 500,000.00 and 1,000,000.00. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the Agency. (0020)
