The Postal Service is advertising for a contractor to renovate the second floor of the Processing and Distribution Center, St. Louis, MO. The work will consist of, but not limited to the following, 1) Architectural and Structural: demolition, Masonry, painting, gypsum board assemblies, flooring and systems furniture, 2) Mechanical: redistribution of air to match new office partition layouts and furniture layouts, addition of filters, and exhaust fans to remedy the diesel fume problem in the office annex areas, 3) Electrical: updating of lighting within second floor renovated areas, providing connections for all new systems furniture stations, including raceways for data and telephone. The estimated cost range for the project is between $2,500,000 and $3,300,000. The performance time 210 calendar days. An organized walk through/preproposal conference will be conducted on February 13, 1995, at 1 PM, at the facility. The cost of the plans and specifications for the above project is $100 per set.
