0017-95 (PCB). Synopsis No: 0017-95 The U.S. Army seeks prospective
sources to submit technical concepts for application of guidance into
the Extended Range Multiple Launch Rocket System (ER-MLRS) rocket.
Concepts must be compatible with the ER-MLRS warhead ogive which
restricts the volume to 443 cubic inches (7267 cubic centimeters).
Expected launch environment is in the 75-90g range. Time of flight is
approximately 140 seconds. Concepts must meet or exceed a 3 mil
delivery accuracy at submunition dispense. Concepts with projected unit
production costs in excess of $20,000 (FY95$) need not be submitted.
Respondents should have a background in missile guidance technology.
Responses must be less than 30 pages and be delivered not later than 31
