The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to acquire on a sole source basis from Gaertner Scientific Corporation of Chicago, Illinois one (1) Collimator, Folded Model L360NCF and one (1) Optical Bench Model L360NB. This equipment is required to function with existing FBI inventory (i.e., resolution targets, light sources, equipment platforms, measuring microscopes and nodal slides). The Gaertner Scientific Corporation Collimator and Optical Bench are the only known Collimator and Optical Bench compatible with the above named accessories. Following negotiations with Gaertner Scientific Corporation a contract will be awarded for one (1) Collimator, Folded Model L360NCF and one (1) Optical Bench Model L360NB.
