Contractor to furnish a total of 4,000 tons of fertile, friable topsoil on an ``as required'' basis during the period 01 May 1995 through 15 Oct 1995 to designated deliver sites located at Fort Richardson, Alaska. Topsoil delivered in a frozen or muddy state will not be accepted. The soil is to be a mix of approximately fifty percent topsoil and fifty percent sand and is to be screened and free of brush, litter, clay lumps, stones, stumps, roots, sticks, rocks, and other projects which meet a sieve analysis of 100 percent passing a one inch screen. Orders for delivery of topsoil will be placed at least twenty-four hours in advance. Deliveries shall be made between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday, with the first delivery of the day arriving at the designated delivery point no later than 7:30 a.m. The requirement listed here is 100 percent set aside for small business. All responsible small business sources may submit a bid which will be considered by the agency. (023)
