Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Architect-Engineer Contract at the 910 Airlift Wing, Youngstown Air Reserve Base, Vienna, Ohio 44473-0910, for a period of one year with option to extend the contract for one additional year. Each delivery order issued under the contract not to exceed $99,000.00, with exception of the initial order. The cumulative amount of the contract/orders not to exceed $400,000.00 for the initial contract period of one year and not to exceed $400,000.00 for the option year should the contract be extended. A minimum of $5,000.00 in fee work will be issued under the contract. Design services consist of concept designs and studies, engineering calculations, contract drawings, specifications and cost estimates, site surveys and master planning services. Projects could involve various combinations of architectural, civil, structural, electrical, mechanical and sanitary disciplines. Projects will include a variety of maintenance, repair, alteration, enhancement and new projects as required. The A-E's services may be required during construction. Selection will be based on the following factors which are numbered in order of importance: 1. Specialized experience and personnel qualifications in the type of work required. 2. Availability of experienced key personnel to work on projects. 3. Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time. 4. Past experience with respect to performance on work for DOD and other clients. 5. Location of the firm in respect to the general geographical area of the project, which is Youngstown Ohio, will be considered. 6. Volume of work previously awarded to the firm with the object of effecting an equitable distribution of DOD A-E contracts among qualified A-E firms including minority-oned firms and firms that have not had prior DOD contracts. A-E firms which have not previously filed a Standard Form (SF) 254 with this office within the past one year should submit both SF 254 and SF 255; firms which have previously submitted SF 254 and SF 255 and which meet requirements described in the announcement are invited to submit a completed SF 255; forms to be submitted to: Operational Contracting Office, 910 AW/LGC (Clarence Horner), Youngstown ARB, Vienna OH 44473-0910. Forms must be received in the office shown not later than 30 days after date of this notice. This is not a request for proposals. Inquiries concerning this announcement should mention ``Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity A-E Contract.'' The anticipated design start date is June 1995. The initial increment work order under the IDIQ contract will be Project Number YNG 97-0006, Install Radiant Heating - B-517. The estimated cost of this project is between $50,000.00 and $100,000.00.
