Wong, 415/604-3005 This is a notification of intent to place a delivery order against GSA nonmandatory FIP resources schedule contract No. GSOOK94AGS5802, with Network Systems Corp., 7600 Boone Ave. North, Minneapolis, MN 55428. Items to be procured are: maintenance services, including parts for a period at twelve (12) months for the following Network Systems Corporation equipment located at NASA-Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, CA: DX Config (including NAA16B, NB130B, NBM02, NDIPI, NCDAS-1) 4 each; NBMO2, NBCB1B, NCET5-4, NBCB3-2B, EN643-48(including NAA16B, NB130B, NB640A, NBCA1, NBMO2); DX4130-18 (including NB130A, NBCA1,NBMO2, (2 each) NDIP-1, NCDAS-1). Delivery is required no later than February 13, 1995, to NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett. Suppliers of identical or similar items that will perform the same end use function(s) may submit data to demonstrate their ability to satisfy this requirement. Such data MUST include, at a minimum, a complete listing of suitable FIP resources, complete specifications to identify item/system capabilities (to include information concerning expected system life and follow-on customer support), description of available lease/rental plans, pricing data (including all applicable discounts and purchase credit accrual plans) and/or GSA nonmandatory FIP resources schedule contract number. Provide information identifying whether the equipment is new or used, (if used, include manufacturer and date of manufacture), maintenance and warranty availability and costs, installation and facilities requirements and costs, and a point of contact for further information. Affirmative responses are defined as WRITTEN responses, with all data enclosed that are required to demonstrate their ability to satisfy this requirement. Pricing data and delivery days (after receipt of order) must be included. Only affirmative responses will receive full consider ation. If no affirmative responses are received within fifteen (15) days from the date of listing of this synopsis in the CBD, the Contracting Officer will proceed with this acquisition to Network Systems Corporation. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the Contracting Officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to the intended schedule vendor and all firms that respond to this synopsis of intent or otherwise request a copy of this solicitation.
