is not an RFP or IFB nor does the Government make any commitment that
any procurement activity will follow. Solicitations are not available
nor does the Government intend to pay for information sought. The
Sacramento District Corps of Engineers is seeking to identify sources
that can provide miscellaneous engineering and environmental
investigative services within the South Pacific Division (SPD)
boundaries (States of CA, NV, UT and AZ) for investigation of hazardous
waste sites at active and inactive military installations and formerly
used defense sites. Contracts may include one or more of the following
types of services: field sampling and analysis, monitoring well
sampling and analysis, asbestos and lead-based paint investigations,
risk assessments, community relations plans, Installation Restoration
Advisory Board workshops, environmental baseline surveys, preliminary
assessment surveys, environmental assessments, Investigative Derived
Waste sampling and disposal, Geographic Information Systems (GIS),
administrative record maintenance and general database management. The
Government expects to issue one or more Indefinite Delivery,
Indefinite Quantity Firm-Fixed-Price Contracts for services by
negotiated procurement at a future date. The contracts may be expected
to include one basic year and up to four option years to be exercised
at the option of the Government. Contract limits could range from
$500,000/year to $6,000,000/year. Firms with the ability to furnish one
or more of these types of services are encouraged to submit a written
statement and examples of projects performed which include the services
described herein. The Sacramento District particularly desires to
identify small and small disadvantaged business with capability to
perform one or more of the described services. Responding firms are
requested to provide the following information: 1) Indicate whether the
firm is a large or small business under SIC code 8744. The size
standard for SIC Code 8744 is 500 employees. 2) Two examples of recent
projects (performed within the last 3 years) for each type of service
the firm has capability to provide, including project title and
location, project owner, duration of project, dates of performance, the
contracted dollar amount, and a one paragraph description of the
project. 3) Indicate the dollar volume of workload the firm has the
capacity to perform for the Sacramento District on a yearly basis. 4)
Indicate whether the firm is limited in the areas where they may
perform work or whether the firm has capability to respond to projects
located throughout the South Pacific Division (States of CA, NV, UT,
AZ). All submissions should be received not later than ten (10) days
after publication of this notice. Requests for a solicitation document
without the submission of further information will not be considered.
