Specific tasks and deliverables required from the contractor shall be in the areas of Information Systems Support, OMNCS Technical Analysis Support, NCS Committee of Principals (COP) and Council of Representatives (COR) Meeting Support, NCS Vision 21 Technical Analysis Support, Visit Authorization Request Information System (VARIS) Support, Reliability and Vulnerability Working Group Support, High Speed Networks Support, AD Hoc Studies and Analyses, Evaluation of Products and Technology, Meeting Support, Telecommunications Emergency Management System (TEMS) Support and National Coordinating Center (NCC) Modernization. This requirement will be competed as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable SIC code is 7379, with a small business size standard of $18 million. A single Cost Plus Award Fee type contract will be awarded, stipulating a base period of 12 months, with options to extend performance for four (4) optional 12 month periods. It is estimated that a total of 1,400 technical staff months (TSMs) of support will be required over the life of the contract. The RFP will be issued on or about 15 Feb 95 and will require receipt of proposals within 45 days. The reading library will be distributed on diskette with the solicitation.
