30367 M -- OPERATION OF JOB CORPS CENTER Sol RFP No. 95-RIV-JC-004. Due

Contracting Officer at (404) 347-3178. Request for proposals for the
continued operation of the Miami Job Corps Center located in Miami,
Florida will be available approximately February 15, 1995 for issue in
response to written request. It is anticipated that the resultant
contract will cover the period November 1, 1995 through October 31,
1997, plus 3 governmental unilateral renewal options of one year. The
approximate average capacity strength is 300 students (96 residential
males, 70 nonresidential males, 64 residential females and 70
nonresidential females). Contractor will provide direct outreach
screening services for a total of 400 students (of which 200 are male
and 200 female). Contractor will provide childcare for 25 preschool
children. An inspection and walk-through of the facility together with
a pre-proposal conference will be convened at 9:00 am, local time on
February 28, 1995 at Miami Job Corps Center. Upon entering the
facility, tour participants must report and register at the Job Corps
Ceter's Administration/Security Building. The contractor shall provide
Academic and Vocational Training, operate a Counseling and Residential
Living Program, and operate the following support services: Health
Services, Processing of Student Records, Discipline System, Clothing
Issue, Mail Services and Legal Servces. The contractor will also
provide overall Center Management and Administration as follows:
Contrat and Personnel Administration, Staff Training, Financial
Management, Procruement and Property Management, Facility Operations
and Maintenance, Security and Safety Services, Community Relations and
Public Information. All questions prior to the Pre-Proposal Conference
should be submitted in writing. Interested offerors should limit their
attendance to no more than three persons. Requests for this
solicitation should include (2) self-addressed mailing labels.
Proposals in response to this RFP will be due no later than 2:00 pm,
local time on April 17, 1995 at the address listed above. Dade County
is not classified as a labor surplus area by the US Department of
Labor. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be
