The Kansas Army National Guard Leadership Development Center at Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas requires commercial bus transportation for period 22 July through 12 August 1995 to move approximately 1500 troops per day from the training site at Ft. Leavenworth to their hotel rooms at Kansas City, MO (approx 20 miles). The bus company must have a minimum of fifteen (15) 45-passenger busses available at one time. The bus service will be required 24 hours per day for this training period. A 24 hour off shift, point of contact to help with any unforseen problems is required. During shift changes, the bus service must provide a bus master to be at the training center for command and control of the bus fleet. Busses will run regular bus routes in accordance with a published schedule. The contract will cover the period above with two one-year opeions to extend the terms of the contract. The contract will be based on a per hour cost per bus.
