Construct two tactical equipment shops, fuel dispensing facility, oil
storage building, two sentry stations, hardstand parking, POV parking,
and renovation of two existing maintenance buildings to deployment
storage buildings. Other work includes asbestos and lead-based paint
removal, utilities, electri service, intrusion detection system, EMCS
connections, security lighting, fencing, information systems, and
evaporative cooling. Estimated Cost Range: $10,000,000 to $25,000,000
- - Bid sets available at $69.85 for half-size and $155.35 for
full-size. No individual sheets of half-size drawings may be purchased.
Requests by mail must include payment in the applicable amount by
company check or money order made payable to F&A Officer, USAED FTW and
Sent to: USACE, Attn: Room 13A42, Post Office Box 17300, 819 Taylor
Street, Fort Worth, Texas 76102-0300. NO EXPRES MAIL PROCEDURES WILL BE
UTILIZED ON INITIAL MAILINGS OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS. Requests in
person may be paid by cash. No refund will be made and materials need
not be returned. If project is cnacelled or no award is made, cost of
plans and specifications will refunded only on written request.
Solicitation to be issued on or about 14 Feb 95. Bid opening on or
about 16 Mar 95. Duration of contract 420 days. If a large business
firm is selected for this announcement, it must comply with FAR
52.219-9 clause regarding the requirement for a subcontracting plan.
The Fort Worth District goals are 60.3% of the contractor's total
planned subcontract amount be placed with Small Businesses; 9.8% of the
total planned subcontract amount with Small Disadvantaged Business;
2..9% of the toal planned subcontract amout with Women Owned Small
Business; and 5.5% of total planned subcontract amount with
Historically Black Colleges and Universities or Minority Institutions
(HBCU/MI). The plan is not required as part of this submittal. The plan
will be due upon notification by the Contracting Officer and submitted
