The principle components of the work include the following: The work to be performed includes scaling rock from above a portion of the access road to Kortes Powerplant; installing a fence-fabric rock net over a section of loose talus rock; removing loose rock materials from existing rock net; hauling and placing rock materials scaled from canyon slopes and removed from rock net; installing rock bolts; removing and reinstalling cable barrier; and furnishing and constructing crib wall retaining structure. The estimated cost range is $100,001 to $250,000. Solicitation packages will be available approximately February 09, 1995. Bid opening is tentatively scheduled for 1 PM, March 21, 1995, at the Bureau of Reclamation, Wyoming ARea Office, 705 Pendell Boulevard, Mills, Wyoming. Contract completion time is August 28, 1995. There is no charge for the first copy of the solicitation, additional sets will be provided upon receipt of a nonrefundable check or money order of $5.00 each. After issuance, the solicitation may be viewed, without charge, at the office of the Bureau of Reclamation, Wyoming Area Office, 705 Pendell Boulevard, Mills, Wyoming; or at the Federal Building, Room 2025, 316 North 26th Street, Billings, Montana. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation.
