Pre-Solicitation: The work includes but is not limited to the demolition and removal of existing ASBESTOS FLOOR TILES, vinyl wall base and wood base board as required. The new construction shall consist of the installation of new vinyl tiles where existing tiles have been previously removed, new vinyl wall base and the re-insulation of existing wood base board and shoe molding where removed and all other incidental related work. The Estimated Cost Range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The Standard Industrial Code is 1752. The related Small Business Size Standard is $7 million. The proposed contract listed here is being considered 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) Concerns. Interested SDB Concerns should provide in writing to the Contracting Officer as early as possible, but not later than 15 days after receipt of this notice, specifically: 1) a list of references past and present government/commercial contracts, similar to the work described in this notice, which includes the contract number, title of contract, dollar value, name of person to contact, and telephone number, 2) a positive statement of self certification as a SDB Concern, and 3) a statement of capability to obtain the required bonds. If adequate interest is not received from SDB Concerns, the solicitation with be issued on an unrestricted basis and another notice will be issued.
