McKay, (410) 636-4286 Potential Sources Sought: The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking qualified sources that can provide various Bird Johnson controllable Pitch Propeller Hub Parts used in the propeller hub assemblies on 210' WMEC ''B'' class vessels. Delivery to be made to U.S. Coast Guard Supply Center Curtis Bay, Baltimore, MD 21226-1792. Requirements Contract for one (1) base year and four (4) option years. It is the Government's belief that only Bird Johnson can provide the various CPP Parts. However, other potential sources having the expertise and required capabilities can submit such data discussing the same in duplicate with 15 days from the date of this announcement. The following information must be provided to evaluate the acceptability of the offered CPP Parts: 1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered CPP Parts (i.e. salient physical, functional and serviceability characteristics, or 2) Data that the offered CPP Parts have been satisfactorily manufactured for the Government or the original equipment manufacturer.
