This system consists of belt and roller conveyors, associated equipment and controls, and specialty equipment for the purpose of receiving, transporting, culling, cancelling, sorting and containerizing mail. This procurement is to assist the USPS with the operational system layout and or complete designs, and, to assist the contractor with their layouts and integration, of any new modifications, to any of these systems, on a site by site basis. Only companies with prior USPS related experience are invited to participate. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about January 30, 1995 with a Pre-Proposal Conference two weeks thereafter and submission of offers March 17, 1995.
