DESCRIPTION e.g. The USPS is pursuing the standardization of Bulk, Loose and Tray Mail Systems nationwide. This system consist of belt and roller conveyors, associated equipment and controls, and specialty equipment for the purpose of receiving, transporting, culling, cancelling, sorting and containerizing mail. This procurement is to engineer, fabricate, install, integrate and test modifications to existing systems, on a site by site basis. Only companies with prior USPS related experience are invited to participate. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about January 30, 1995 with a Pre-Proposal Conference two weeks thereafter and submission of offers March 17, 1995.
