58 -- HAND HELD THERMAL IMAGING SYSTEM POC Ginny Powers, EG&G Florida, Inc. BOC-110, 407-867-7869. EG&G Florida, Inc., in support of NASA at the Kennedy Space Center, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis (based on only one qualified source) with Inframetrics, Inc. for a hand-held high perfomance Thermal Imaging System. This system shall consist of the following items: Electrically cooled FPA Shortwave Imager, 50 mm lens (8 degrees x 7 degrees field of view), attachable viewfinder, three 2,000 mAh NiCd batteries (approx. 2 hr runtime), 110 VAC battery charger, NTSC video output cable, carrying case, Sony (or equal) GV-Video Walkman NTSC. Offerors proposing compatible equipment must respond within 15 days from date of publication. Written responses shall include GSA contract number, if applicable, prices and technical data sufficient to determine capability to meet the requiremet. If no affirmative responses are received within this time to determine that a comparable sourse more advantageous to the Government is available, negotiations will commence with the above named company.
