60 -- PROVIDE FIBER OPTIC CABLES & PARTS SOL DAKF40-95-B-0023 DUE 032395 POC Contract Specialist, BOB DRISCOLL EXT 225, (910)396-4362 The U.S. Army, Fort Bragg, North Carolina has a requirement for delivery of fiber optic cables, and other associated parts. This requirement is for a total of nine (9) line items, seven (7) will be 100% set aside for small businesses, and two (2) will be for brand name items (Siecor). This will be a Requirements Type Contract with a base year and one option year. Due to automation of the Bidders Mailing List, certain pertinent information is required before vendors can be added to the list. It is therefore required that all requests for solicitation packages include the vendor's business size. For determining business size the Standard Industrial Code for this requirement is 3357 and to be considered a small business under this code, a firm, including its affiliates, must have an average employment of less than 1000 employees during each of the pay periods of the preceding 12 months. Date for receipt of bids is estimated, actual opening date and time will be included in the solicitation.
