The Defense Electronics Supply Center (DESC) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Booz, Allen & Hamilton, Inc. (BAH), the award of a modification to contract DLA900-90-D-0424. Subject modification will extend the period of performance an additional nine (9) months from 1 Oct 95 to 30 June 96. BAH currently operates the Survivability/Vulnerability Information Analysis Center (SURVIAC) under the subject contract. The effort includes, but not be limited to: collection, review, analysis, appraisal, summary and dissemination of pertinent and timely information on the vital technical area of Nonnuclear Survivability (susceptibility and vulnerability) and lethality (munitions effectiveness) as it relates to U.S. and foreign aeronautical and surface targets. DESC believes that BAH is the only known source capable of meeting all of the Government's minimum requirements for this effort. Any other firm desiring consideration must fully identify its capability to perform the requirement. This is not a competitive procurement and no solicitation is available. See Note 22. (023)
