N -- ENERGY SAVINGS PERFORMANCE PROJECT SOL DADA10-95-R-0048 DUE 041595 POC Contracting Officer, Craig Stark, (210)221-9433 The U.S. Army Medical Command, Central Contracting Office, intends to procure energy savings performance projects at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center, Denver, Colorado. This energy savings performance project will include a lighting retrofit in approximately 60 buildings and other energy conservation measures that are deemed appropriate. The contractor will be required to furnish, at no capital cost to the Government, all management, labor, material, equipment, and operation and maintenance services required to achieve the desired savings. The installed equipment will remain the property of the contractor until final payment is made. Payment for services will be made from the existing utility funds and the resulting energy cost savings. The term of the contract is limited to 25 years and is authorized by the Energy Policy Act of 1992. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about February 18, 1995. Offers will be due on or about April 15, 1995. A pre-proposal conference will be held. This will be an indefinite quantity type contract. This requirement is restricted to those firms included in the Public Service Company of Colorado list of approved energy services providers.
