FOR SALE: ONE MIT ``C'' RULING ENGINE AND ACCESSORIES This engine is based on a modified type 4 Universal Measuring Machine from the Moore Special Tool Company to which has been added interferometric control of the blank position in both translation and yaw. The largest blank size that can be utilized is 18'' (46 cm) in width by 28'' (71 cm) in length with a maximum thickness of 5'' (13 cm). As normally used, blanks up to 15'' (38 cm) wide by 20'' (51 cm) long with a thickness of 3'' (8 cm) can be accommodated.
