Work consists of furnishing all labor, supplies, material, supervision, transportation, and equipment required to repair, relace, maintain, and/or construct identified asphaltic concrete (AC) or Portland cement concrete (PCC) roads, parking lots, and AC taxiways and shoulders, including all associated sitework, at Nellis AFB NV. The performance period is for a basic one year period with an option to extend two additional years. The annual guaranteed amount, as well as the minimum project amount, is $25,000. Delivery orders may be issued consecutively up to the maximum annual amount of $5 million. Contractor must be able to respond and begin work within 14 calendar days after notification. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 1611 with a three year average annual small businss size standard of $17 million. The proposed contract listed here is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible, but not later than 15 days of publication of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the contracting office above evidence of (1) capability to successfully perform 25% of the work with their own labor forces (include complete references of past performance for similar work); (2) bonding and financial capacity; and (3) a positive statement of eligibility as a small, socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. Evaluation of the responses received will be based solely on the information received by the closing date. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted, without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all business concerns as well as SDB concerns. Availability of the solicitation is limited and will be issued on a first come, first served basis to the extent available. Only written requests (FAX acceptable), received directly from the requestor on company letterhead, will be accepted.
