Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, and materials to 1) Remove existing and provide new two story office suite, 2) Provide factory finished sheet metal to interior side of exterior walls, 3) Paint roof structure and underside of metal roof decking, 4) Remove existing floor finish and joint filler and provide new sealer in joints and floor finish, 5) Remove existing roll-up doors and replace with insulated electronically operated roll-up doors, 6) Provide one hour rated fire wall between the office area and the hangar area, 7) Develop new main entrance, 8) Provide new heating for the office areas and toilet areas, 9) Replace electrical service, to include transformers, overhead line, and distribution panel, 10) Provide new fluorescent fixtures, 11) Provide fire detection and alarm, 12) Provide EMCS monitoring for the new office heating. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Solicitation will be issued on or about 03 Mar 95 with a bid opening date of 04 Apr 95. Performance period is 150 calendar days. This acquisition may be 100% set aside for small and disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible, but not later than ten days of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the Contracting Office reflected in this announcement evidence of capability to perform and a positive statement of eligibility as a small disadvantaged business concern. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued under full and open competition procedures without further notice.
