The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, services, equipment, technical personnel, consultants and laboratory analytical personnel necessary to complete asbestos abatement, disposal, analysis and all related tasks. The SIC Code for the project is 4953. The magnitude of the project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The government intends to award a requirements-type contract consisting of a base year and two option periods. Funds will be obligated on individual delivery orders issued against the resultant contract. This acquisition is being considered for 100% set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify this office of their intent to bid on this project as a prime contractor as soon as possible, but not later than 15 days from the date of this notice. The notification must include (a) a positive statement of eligibility as a SDB concern; (b) evidence of capacity to obtain the required bonds; (c) past performance data on projects that demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Information on your financial status, i.e., letter from bank, should also be submitted. If adequate interest is not received from at least two SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued without further notice, on an unresricted basis.
