The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to place an order from the Oracle Corporation's, Inc., Non-mandatory GSA Contract #GS-OOK-94-AGS-5694 for continued software maintenance and support of the software as identified below. Identification of software shall be segregated by platfrom type. (1) For IBM RS 6000/320 with 1 user named, 240 copies: SQL*Forms, Oracle Reports, SQL*Net and SQL*Net TCP/IP; (2) For IBM RS 6000/980 with 64 users named, 7 copies: RDBMS with Procedural Option, SQL*Plus, Distributed Option, SQL*Net, SQL*Net TCP/IP, Pro*C and, Pro*FORTRAN; (3) For DEC Microvax 3100, 8 users named, 1 copy: SQL*Plus and Pro*FROTRAN; (4) For DEC Microvax 3100, 8 users named, i copy: SQL*Net with SQL*Net TCP/IP. Responses to this synopsis of intent should be received within 15 days of the publication of this notice and should contain price quotations and clear and convincing documentation, based on the above description, indicating that it is advantageous to the Government in the areas of price and other factors to consider sources other than the above identified source. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the contracting officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to the intended schedule vender and all firms that respond to this synopsis of intent or otherwise request a copy of the solicitation. All warranties, terms, and conditions applicable under the Oracle Corporation Non-mandatory GSA Contract are included.
