The Government intends to extend the existing Air Force Minicomputer Multiuser System (AMMUS) Contract (F19630-86-D-0001) for updates to select software CLINs and maintenance of select hardware CLINs on a month by month basis. It is intended that WANG Laboratories Inc. Federal Systems Division, Lowell, MA will be the source for the extended maintenance services and that the extension period is for Air Force AMMUS users only. This potential extension is for a maximum of six months (through 30 Sep 95) and will be terminated upon award of the AMMUS-M contract (Synopsis 94-0004). This extension is necessary to prevent a break in critical AMMUS maintenance services should a protest delay award of the follow on contract AMMUS - M. This contract action is for maintenance services in which the Government intends to solicit only one source under the authority of FAR 6,302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capabilities to respond to the requirement in writing to be received within 15 days of publication of this notice. All proposals received will be considered by the Government. Sources should include company name, address, point of contact, large, small, small disadvantaged or woman-owned business status.
