Siney, Phone (703)604-0757 The Navy intends to negotiate a Time and Materials (T&M) contract with Northrop Corporation, Aircraft Division, One Northrop Ave., Hawthorne CA, 90250, for engineering and technical support required on the BQM-74E Aerial Target program. The Navy plans to issue orders which include, but are not limited to, authorizing engineering investigations, feasibility studies, logistics studies, training studies, and integration studies. Orders may also include the development of associated technical data, training documentation, engineering change proposals, requests for waivers, and requests for deviations. In accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), Northrop Corporation, Aircraft Division is the designer, developer, and sole manufacturer of the BQM-74E Aerial Target system and is the only known firm with the knowledge, experience, and technical data necessary to meet the Navy's requirements within the required timeframe.
