Stiller, 509-522-6808. Shop fabricate, deliver and install a new lift gate at the Ice Harbor navigation lock. New gate is 90 feet tall by 87 feet wide and weighs 700 tons. The arched upstream skin plate and the structural members are to be fabricated from ASTM A 572 grade 50 steel plate and shapes. Small quantity of stainless steel also required. Gate is all welded construction. Furnish 24 new 2-1/4'' lift cables 150 feet long, new electrical limit switch, and some small gear reducers. Field work consists of removal and disposal of old gate and installation of new gate. Deliver gate in two pieces with field connected joint. Field work to be performed during a 60 day time period. Estimated cost between $5,000,000.00 - $10,000,000.00. Payment of $45 (forty-five) for plans and specifications to accompany request for solicitation.
