Replacement of 53 wood windows with new energy efficient, rigid polyvinyl windows; addition of a new sloped metal roof over the existing flat roof; and addition of new thin brick panels over existing cement asbestos siding on Billeting Bldg 2392 at Fairchild AFB, WA. Estimated construction cost is between $250,000 and $500,000. Project is to be bid lump sum. Contract performance period is 210 calendar days. Working house are weekdays, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, excluding federal holidays. The work is not located in a restricted or controlled area. Government furnished materials are not included. The solicitation is scheduled to be issued on or about 14 February 1995. The SIC code is 1522. The solicitation is being considered for 100% Small Disadvantaged Business Set-Aside (SDB) concerns.
